I have heard of the Stomp also, but only from the mouth of airshow narrators.

Haven't heard of it, but doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Turning radius also decreases as airspeed slows. With this in mind the the A10 with its low speed and large straight wing should be able to turn inside of any faster swept wing jet down low where it operates best.

This is oversimplified, but turn rate decreases and turn radius increases at any speed above OR below the optimum corner velocity for a particular aircraft. There are charts that show us what speed corner velocity is with a certain configuration, at a specified altitude, and with given atmospheric conditions. I won't get into more specifics, but it doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out an F-16's corner velocity isn't the same as an A-10's.

Anyone ever flown an A10 in DACM against a Lawndart or Eagle down low ?

Flown against Vipers a few times. First time was at the RTU, or A-10 training school. He had external fuel tanks, decided to slow down and try and play by my rules...I have some great footage of him wallowing around at 160-180 knots, attempting to guns jink while I guns track him. Latest was out over the ocean, in a declassified jet (it was going to an airshow later in the week). No RWR, no chaff or flares, and AWACS couldn't put their coffee down long enough to give a BRA call worth a damn. Next thing I know, we're still attempting a radar missile defense, and I hear, "Fox 2, southern A-10, right-hand turn..." I had expected them out of the sun, but we were at 8,000' MSL and they converged on us from above 30,000'...very hard to pick up an F-16 without a bit of help. He timed the missile out, and called it a "Fox 2 kill." Oh well, good training for them.
