I AM IN THE PROCESS OF TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO THE A-10 SQUADRON (THE FLYING TIGERS). THEY WERE STATIONED HERE AT ENGLAND AIR FORCE BASE UNTIL IT CLOSED.THE AIRCRAFT NOSE ART WAS PAINTED WITH THE TIGER TEETH. I KINDA THOUGHT THEY WERE DISPERSEDNAFTER THE CLOSING OF THE BASE. IF ANYONE CAN SHED SOME LIGHT ON THE SUBJECT, I'D REALLY APPRECIATE IT. THANKS BUBBAJ1964

The 23 is now 23 Fighter Group with the 74 and 75 Fighter Squadrons, both flying the A-10. The 76 is now the 76 Space Control Squadron, here at Peterson AFB, CO. They are part of Space Command.
