I recently heard from the guy who crewed my old airplane (80-0248) when it was assigned to Suwon AB in South Korea. He sent me some photos he had of her when he crewed her. I'll see if I can post them here. It's been a while since I've posted photos (or anything else for that matter!) here. Let's see..

I spent many an hour in this seat!

I'll post more later.

Thanks. My thanks go to Skip McCloskey. He stumbled across me on Youtube, via the video I'd uploaded of myself launching one of our jets at LeMoore NAS, I believe. He found out I crewed 0248, and told me that was his jet at Suwon.

I was glad he "surfaced", as I had very few photos of my old jet. Now, to post the rest of them. :D

Shoot! It's been so long, I can't remember if he's checking servicing APU oil, or something on the hydraulics. I remember both of those panels, but can't remember what was inside them! Double-shoot!

Posing. Gotta love the old gun gas diverter! :D

Ah, memories! The pave penny pod, and the good 'ole 781 forms binder!

Does Dice have a close-up of the door art? Do you? If the green color didn't give the era away, the gas diverter sure did! Thanks for sharing.

I don't. At least, of the door art when I had the jet. I got very few photos of 0248 while I had her. I don't know if Skip McCloskey does. I'll ask him. I think he's got more photos. He just sent me those 27 the other night.

The pic with his hand in the belly, looks like left hydro reservoir panel but no idea what he's doing unless his bleed chain broke...heh. ;)

Great find with the old CC and pics!

Ha Ha damn 30MM you know me to well! Yes I would love to see a closer shot of that door art.

Anybody notice the gun gas diverter on that one shot? Don't see them to often.

What was the 'gun gas diverter era' 85/86?

Yeah, somewhere in there. I know it was tested at Wright-Patt in '83.
