\"Airman Down\" is an article in the Sept Air & Space magazine about the SANDY mission of the A-1 and A-10. and also has a pic of 30mm Jr's 126th ANG ARW topping off the tanks of a Hog over Afghanistan.

An excellent article, also well worth reading the 'Soul of the Skyraider' article about Greg Anders who flies an A1 at air shows and flew the Hog with the 190th FS.

\"If he`s out there, we´ll find him\"

What else can be said, gladly these CSAR concerning downed airmen missions are not to often to happen now a days and the A-10 the right tool for it. If remembering right last time during Allied Force, twice.
Great jobs done!

My respect to the USAF, no other air arm and nation does pay so much attention to their folks when being downed, what ever it may take.
Cheers- Bat
