Does anyone have a picture of the AGM-65 that was Fired into the Revetment Wall at King Fhad International Airport (KFIA)
During the last days of Operation Desert Storm? Carl has pictures of the Wall afterwards.
I was down in Charlie Block (CELL BLOCK) wHEN IT HAPPENED and we got all the Rocket Fumes into our Revetment.
Hell we thought we were getting Mortared . the BOOM! That thing leaving the rail and hitting the Wall was Deafening! We put are gas mask on a Huddled against the North was to keep from get pelleted by all the rocks a anything else it was throwing at us! We were a Good 100 YRDS away1
When it was all over we went to go what happened and saw the MAV in the Wall THEY RAN US OFF BEFORE WE COULD TAKE PICTURES OF IT.
Then we drove by going to EOR And could see the seeker Head still moving and got ran off again.
If it a matter of some money I'll pay for a copy
