That's it, Goose, you're on your way to recovery! The first step to recovery is admitting the truth. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I remember when I figured out how to line things up so I could print my headings on my forms in my 24-pin dot-matrix printer back at the house. <G>

GOOSE,

I was ate-up over my old jet 9204, as I'm sure you remember. Remember how she was the worst jet on the line and a load of K's? LTC Brown (I think that was his name) asked me if I would be DCC on her. I got that and a new paint job and fresh teeth. After every FLT she got her teeth brushed, canopy and windscreen cleaned, and I touched up my tires.

I also use to take care of the forms cover page for "B" FLT. We got an old computer and a Dot Matrix computer that I used to create the forms. I still have a copy for my old jet.

As for your comments about items in a Cockpit, When I was in Germany at Sembach, We (the maintainers and Pilots) had an unwritten law that if a Stick actuator left any classified item in the cockpit, then the would have to hand deliver a case of beer to the line. Well the D.O. at the time left his authentication book in the mapcase. I hand delivered it to him infront of a Full bird. Well I got myself two cases of Heinekin Red Star, and I shared it with the rest of the line that night.

The last case I got was from a Capt at Red Flag who thought the fuel gauge was not woking right. Well he taped (or should I say PUNCHED) the glass, which broke, and he bought a case for that. I was at EOR when he Squaked in Code 3 "Fod in the Cockpit".

pctech/xA10A crew Chief 9204.
