We had a Cop Fall asleep in one of those \"Baby Dodge Trucks \" I forgot what they call them, but anyway , he drove it under 9186's Nose Gear Door or I should say Into it and kept going.

It scarped the Door and Broke the Tube in half , and then He didn't say anything about it. He did it on a Saturday Early AM and we found it on Sunday on Weekend Duty going over Preflights/Lox etc...
I had to be the Damn APG Super too Every Bird, Leaf, Bar was out there trying to find out \"Who did it?\" And the SP that was on Duty then \"Chris\" I knew was leaning on the roof of the truck talking to me and Tom when Tom said \"Hey where did that Scratch Come from?\"

We walked over to the Jet and sure enough \"Blue paint\". Chris drove the Truck over and it FIT. The Asst DCM Was all over his ASS SCREAMING!
Until I stopped him and said \"Sir he just came on Shift at Noon , he didn't Sir. he helped us by Pointing it out\" (Told a Little White Lie) Then The LT.Col said \"G-D DAMNIT GOOSE\" WHEN THE HELL WERE YOU GOING TO POINT THAT OUT TO US????

But when the SP that did it Fessed-up and when he did it almost 2 days before The \"OLD MAN \" Went Thru the ROOF!!!
He lost 1 Stripe and they made him pay the $3000 to fix it or Face Discharge.Man the Col was Mad!

We were at Hurlburt when that happened.....I think he was discharged for reckless use of govnmt vehicle and making a false official statement, but I'm really not sure what happened with that guy. That is what caused the "Handsfree Cell phone" only policy to come into effect

I don't think so...these guys use their hands to communicate on the radios all the time. This is what caused the "keep your head in the game and don't screw around at work with people who work on your shift" rule to come into effect. Pun totally intended.
