I just completed a new hog t-shirt, which was inspired by Lockheed's lawyers and their annoying habit of busting my chops over my t-shirt art time and again.

I just went and counted how many A-10 shirts I own, I have 6. This will SO not be #7.

OK, clearly not well received. Why the ire? I would've thought there was some healthy competition between hog lovers and viper lovers (I see this sort of rivalry all the time among general aviation pilots who own different planes.) Am I mistaken?

that wasn't a bad looking t-shirt but the lawn dart thing was kind of in bad tast if you ask me, I worked both kind of , I was in crash recovery,r&r at shaw and both planes had their good points and bad ones but the picture of the one in the ground didn't set well with me , all planes make a big mess when they go down and i've known some the drivers didn't walk away from. Now if you change the pic some it should be a real good seller, I'd buy one myself.

Would it help if I had the pilot shown safely standing by his viper, chute deployed? Or is there too much crossover between the F-16 and A-10 communities for anyone to really like a shirt that dogs the F-16?

(Which is not to imply that I think the F-16 sucks. In fact, I think it is a pretty sexy plane, and its export sales speak for itself. I just thought there might be the same sort of rivalry between communities as there is between Ford and Chevy fans, for example.)

Idea for a shirt is good.
I don't like the A-10 how it is painted. It looks he had a fat belly under his mouth/gun.
And i know you can paint very good the A-10.

The whole Lawn Dart/Hog rivalry thing is so 1980's...it was settled in Desert Storm and resettled in OEF and OIF. Both aircraft have their strengths and weaknesses and the AF has finally admitted it, as well, with the decision to keep the A-10 in service well past the F-16 community.

I too have several close friends who rode one in...no longer so funny.

Anyone with an idea for a cartoon shirt they WOULD like to see, let me know. I'm at the drawing board over the next few weeks.

If you go the web site then for a catergory click on goverment/military them advance to page 7 there is another shirt which is far more suitable.
