It's finally official, I have my very own A-10C! No longer a \"turd\"...just floating around the flightline. :)

80-0217 via Osan is now a 122FW jet, and mine. :)

Still in acceptance so she hasn't been painted...so the half Osan rudder will stay until Phase in a few months since we need flyers. She doesn't look too shabby considering what we've received from Osan so far. Only meaning most Osan birds were rode hard and put away wet. ;)

Poop...found the right nacelle IB cowl hinge has cracks in it on the acft side. Problem is, there are none in stock in the USAF. The joys of working old jets...lol.

Quite a few of the Osan jets have cracks in the hinges which made me look a lot closer at mine. :cry:

Time to go scavenging at the bone yard!
Many of those Osan jets did time in the USAFE early in their careers.
