 Post subject: Silly Question?

On the nose strut on about half of our Hogs there is an \"O\" on the lower right side above the wheel. What is this? Does it have anything with being an ex OA-10? If so, since the C conversion there are no more OA-10s, just A-10Cs...does it need to be there? I can't find any info on this.

It's a marker to indicate a jacking point. Nothing at all to do with type or mission of acft.
