Never been to Tucson...any tips for food, fun, recreation?

I hear skiing is good this time of year. :)

Can't recall its name, but there's a Mexico City- style restaurant that's darn good. There's Kitt Peak National Observatory about an hour sw of Tucson, if you like that kind of thing.

If you've got wheels, take a run up the Mt. Limon hwy. Great views, excellent rock climbing. Be sure to stop at Windy Vista, great view of the entire Tucson metro area and beyond.

Pima Air museum right behind the base.

If you are into racing theres the Tucson Dragway just south east of the base. They hold the winter nationals there.

for good mex food go out the front gate. go straight down to 29th st turn rt. sanchez jr is the pink stuco on the left hand side of the rad about a 1.4 block down.

Thanks for the tips guys!

I was at Hill 5 times just over a year ago and I suck at time management to work ratio so I never got to meet the Dice Man even though I wanted to. Guess I should have called the 555.xxxx number...heh.

Went to In-N-Out Burger for lunch yesterday, I'm now happy and don't have to do anything else here at DM...lol. We don't have In-N-Outs back east.

Hitting up Lil Abner's tonight for steaks.
