Hi guys,

I was asking myself a question? When the 'active duty' units will withdraw their A-10's from their inventory.... would they pass them on to the ANG for some years of use? I guess that when DM is to swap their fleet A-10's for the (ugly) F-35s.... the A-10 will be transferred to ANG. So.... after all, I think that at least 2 new squadrons will be in future flying the A-10. Am I right... or just hoping and dreaming

Cheers.
Rico

Well, I expect (but that is my own guess) that AD will lose it's A-10s first before the ANG and AFRC will do.... the same happened with (almost) all other types in the past; F-100, F-105, F-4 and A-7s! But, I just start another interesting Hog chat.... so that's why I asked the question. Personally I think that the ANG will be the last command to fly the A-10 (2030 or later)....

Well.... would be nice to see what will be true....

Take care,

Rico
