I'll be shutting down the server that Warthog Territory is running on by the end of January and don't have any plans on resurrecting it. The forum gets very little activity and I haven't updated the site in several years.

Damn. That sucks.

I've created a facebook group for A-10 maintainers (and enthusiasts).
I invited all my maintenance friends on FB to join it, but the rest of you will have to click over manually and join.

Maybe it will get more action. F-16.net gets tons of discussions and I'd hoped this place would too, but it hasn't. Sorry to see it go, but time to move on I guess.

I knew it was coming, kinda sad but like Pete said time to move on. Thanks to all members past and present...we had a good run.

Very sad news,the forum has given me such a great insight into the Hog community that I couldn't have gleaned from just books.
Many thanks to all the Hog drivers and Maintainers that have responded to any posts and thanks for your 'Hog stories'

while I haven't been as frequent to the site as in the past, it was always nice to come back periodically and catch up. Will miss it, but I wish the best to all of you, it has been a pleasure to watch and learn from the pros on here! And to all of you, SALUTE!!

I'll really miss this site. I'm not a facebooker. I do hang on some other sites though, but they are unrelated.

I'm on AFTWS, and CATM.com, and WWA.org, but that's about it.

If anyone here ever wants to corrispond, or has firearms related questions, or just wants to BS about our beloved Hogs, feel free to email.

It's been a great 13 years (+/-) for me. Met a bunch of good people both in person and virtually. I, for one, have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge about my favorite modern aircraft. And appreciation for those who maintain and fly them.

Scurried over to WT Mk II like a rat on a rope...

Like everyone else, I'm sorry to see the site go. Guess I'm as guilty as everyone else about not posting much anymore but life and my new job chasing dreams (Google \"Dreamchaser\" to see what I'm now doing to keep myself out of the bars) keeps getting in the way.

Ironically, it was in large part my time with the A-10 that got me this job so, like a lot of people, I owe the old girl a big thank you.

Not to my knowledge. I PM'd Pete asking if there was a way to back it up, but haven;t heard back. I'd be shocked if there was, but it doesn't hurt to ask. All the more reason to post on the new forum!

That does suck. I browse here an awfull lot still, but being an Eagle guy now tends to keep me out of the loop. Jack, you got room at 2.0 for SMSgt Eagle Keeper?

Of course, WTF 2.0 is for all A-10 fans! It's still slow over there, but it's not going anywhere.

Odd, I thought all of these forums ran off some sort of database; hence there should be files that could be transferred.

Hopefully Pete will get back to you, it would be nice to save the corporate knowledge that has been built up on this forum over the years.

We used to be a lot lot busier in volume back in the day, this place has not been like it used to be in it's prime for a couple years now.

Someone post the link to the new WT 2 site here so people can find it here easily?
