Word is bad batch of bullets. Bad "bands". Bullets fired but all the compression went around them. WTF ... I'm sure we could come up with a Laste upgrade. Another reason to fly fast I guess. OR, strafe passes at 90 deg dive.

A few weeks ago, a spang A-10 lost a few bullets out of his gun before it's training at the Pampa Range, Belgium. The bullets felt on the street and on a storage-center at a nearby city. Luckily there were no injuries. Spangdahlem AB is investigating this accident. They told this kind of accident never happened before. Maybe RAVEN has some more info about this? |

There is still a safety investigation on-going, but I can say that the bullets did not fall out before the gun was fired. There was some type of malfunction that allowed the bullets to fall out of the end of the gun while firing instead of being shot out like you would expect. This is an extremely rare problem, and we have already taken measures to prevent it from happening again. |
