I'm doing some door-art drawings, and if anyone could help, I need good close-up pics of "Ass-Kickin' Chicken" and "Heartbreaker".
If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated

heartbreaker is Red Monika from the comic Battle Chasers by Joe Madurera published by DC/Wildstorm <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
<img src="http://www.comics.ubbi.com.br/top_red_monika01.jpg" border=0>

excellent comic - shame that Joe decides to paint covers rather than finish the story ..

<img src="http://www.chez.com/battlechasers/image/grand/red/bc_coll_1_cvr-bw.gif" border=0> <img src="http://www.chez.com/battlechasers/image/grand/red/Battle%20Chasers.jpg" border=0> found some more of the same pose <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

The "ass kicken chicken" art was drawn by the dood that draws the teenage mutant ninja turtles. He has a studio in Northampton Mass. The bird is assigned to the 104th FW of the Mass Air Guard. Aircraft 78-696.

I just got a stupid question. How does a Hawg have a door art? Doesn't the Hawg have a canopy? Whats the door on the Hawg there for? Landing gear?

The ladder.

Dice, i havn't forgetten your mighty mouse door art, i just havn't had a chance to root through all the pix yet. Things were a bit chaotic when i first got back, but i'm pretty settled in now.

Thanks for the info Hawg166, I have most of the tail numbers for the doorart I have but, I need to sit-down one day and put the numbers on the pics themselves.

Not a problem Sniper, when you get time. BTW don't expect any posts from me during the day until Friday because we are having our PIWG (Product Improvement Working Group) meeting this week at the O Club, early mornings and late afternoons.

I don't know Smitty, for some reason I'm not impressed with his work. In the first one the Hog looks good but the A-10 itself seems to be an after-thought. Also why the Shark Teeth (but no eyes) on a 104th jet's door..just not right.

Is there a story behind the "ass-kickin' chicken" and this jet? If not why an eagle instead of a Warthog?

Looks like there may be some Identity issues going on here LOL! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Disreguard the chicken question I just when back and looked at the 104th patch!

Dice, i think the mouse and the Rootin for Iraqi's sign is up on the link i posted in the 'thanx to the Utahians thread'.

They're not sorted, so it might take a while to find, but im pretty sure they're both in there.
