Oh no! There will be no static displays! Thats right, there will be 2 Hogs from Spangdahlem there but they will used by us to perform our demonstration! We will be doing a practice at 1118 Thursday July 17th, and will be performing on Saturday and Sunday as well. It is official so unless the planes break coming up from Germany we will be performing at RIAT. So hopefully I will see you there. If you see us stop by and say hi.

This is excellent news!
Remember here in the UK we haven't had a proper Hog demo since 1991, when the 91st TFS from the 81st TFW at Bentwaters/Woodbridge provided the USAFE A-10 displays.
I'm definately going on the Sunday but may now go Sat as well.......heck,I'll go the practice day too!
Thanks for the news ghorse.......don't forget to bring plenty of Flying Tigers T-Shirts/patches etc
See you there

REAL shame I am gonna miss RIAT due to work - the only airshow in the UK with a Hog there AND its flyign a full demo too! Am gutted!

And cant even get to buy any of the Tshirts or patches either! Things are looking bleak!

Hope you guys enjoy the display, bet it will be fantastic.

Come on Demo teams - come back to the UK again REAL soon and do moooooooore displays!

Cheers
Kevin

FYI: I will be taking 2 Hogs to Salthill Ireland this weekend for an airshow. The jets will stay at Shannon, but we will be doing the fly-by practice on Saturday and the airshow on Sunday. If anyone knows of something we should be sure to see on the Western coast of Ireland, be sure to email me atinkjet@cst.net and I will try to put it on our list of things to see.

Inkjet, I'm assuming your Hogs are SP, its a shame no Hogs made it to last weekends Waddington International Airshow.
The show is in alot of peoples opinion the best in the UK, if you take into account admission price, getting in and out of the airfield, a sensible security policy (RIAT take note) and of course a good flying display.
