Forgive my ignorance, could someone please explain the story behind the 'Flying Elvises' patches that are seen around mostly linked with the 25th FS. I recall seeing a Hog jock from the 81st FS sporting such a patch at Air Fete 98 at Mildenhall, obviously a former 'Assam Draggin' <img src="http://www.tankkiller.com/patches/images/25FS_FlyingElvises.jpg" border=0> |

I also belive it has to do with the CSAR mission, if you can find Elvis you can find anyone! We have a tee-shirt in our display case at the SPO with Elvis on it and it reads..."if he's out there we can find him, Combat Search and Rescue." HMFIC |

There must be someone that frequents this site that is from Osan? Isn't Mikes new embroidery right outside the gate? They should have all kinds of those patches? |
