I keep hearing a rumor that the A-10's are on there way out of AF inventory. Then I also heard they will be taking over as a forest fire mission with civilians. Does any know if there is truth to this rumor?? Set me straight.

Every plane is on its ways out of the AF inventory. It's just a matter of time. As far as the tankers go, that's just a concept for now, and I can't really imagine that it's going to happen anytime soon. If you want details on the Hog FireFighter, you can go to www.firehogs.com and check it out. However, that page really hasn't been updated in the last couple of years, so I think the idea's at a standstill right now.
