Someone is not playing nice.

By the way the A-10 does not have "bays". It has pylons and number 6 can be used for a fuel tank or other aramament. The only thing is if you load 6 you cannot load 5&7. And of course that means if you load 5&7 you cannot load 6. Before you go off and start talking Lomac this and that I am talking "Real World A-10" stuff, not games.

Guess you didnt hear, Snipe is a trigger man and driver for the Mob. Right now snipe is reloaden special Loads for his 7.62 Troll slayer. Guidos are provideing the beafeater a courtesy trip in the back of a Lincoln with plush interior, Surround Sound of pavarotti. and a Blanket, although it must be uncomfortable being ductaped with a nasty jock strap in his mouth, laying on a chainsaw, a couple bags of lime and shovels. and CS powder in the boxers...

YOu can load all three stations, you jsut can't load TERs. You can put one bomb on each station, but with anything else the stations are too close togather, and will interfere with each other. It's usually best not to push fate.

Technically you can load bombs on all stations. However, if you load bombs on 5,6 & 7 you're going to have interference and possible bomb-to-jet impact upon release. That's part of the reason it's against the T.O.s to load all three stations. And there's the whole munitions clearance thing.

Thanks for backing me up TG. I am about tired of these kids asking questions and then some Pup giving bad info. When I answer questions concerning load configs I am always talking from a real world perspective. NOT THEORY OR LOMAC SIMS POSSIBILTIES. Hell yes you can load all three however it is not a legal config, period. Check the -1. I doubt "Gifted" even knows what that is and if he does he can't read it. Please God don't let him be a weapons troop.

FenderStrat72, I will, after being corrected in two places, be more conservative when it comes to flightline stuff, especially considering me being backshop on two planes, and trained on the other. I can understand where you're coming from, I'll accept the "Pup" label, as I will be going to a whole new airframe, and flightline rather than backshop, in March.

I know the -1, we probably got both back in support. I've never been exposed to the A-10 one, so SORRY! I suppose I'll go talk to someone who knows more about it than I before my next post. This is the reason for the "THEORETICAL," etc. labels. Request for clarification from someone who knows more, and to say not to take it for doctrine.

I just realized that I put 2W1 in my profile as my occupation, assuming that people here would know what it is. I have know no idea what you do. No doubt you're well informed, but I have no idea where you're coming from. I'll be updating my profile to clarify where exactly I'm coming from, but we can both take your advice about research.

Yes, having read the response to another post, I am seeing that he has knowledge, I'm just not used to being corrected in that manner. Most people on the other forum I go to are gentler. I can see what would make him blow up though. Having not thought about it for a while, and coming back, I was just as harsh as he was. TinyGiant's reply was enough for me, and next time I will check the -1, or whatever. I'll also be staying away from flightline stuff. I can claim authority on backshop, but I'll let the flightline guys answer those questions. Apologies.

If that is your apology it is accepted. The reason I corrected you was the questioned had already been answered. Then you chose to "correct my answer" with incorrect info. Hince I got a little salty. I have many, many years on the A-10. Flightline and Backshop. When I say many I mean over 14 years on the HOG. When it comes to weapons on the HOG I have done just about everything. Not bragging just facts. So no ill will just a little dressing down so to speak. I dont presume to tell Dice or Goose their business when it comes to being a crew dog or Snipe his when talking sniping or tatics. No I listen and learn. It is just a case of learning who has the experience on what.

Well said Fender, be the expert in your field and allow others to be the expert in theirs. BTW Fender wait until you see the weapons changes coming in PE, not just the weapons the Hog can carry but also the test equipment and everything that comes with it!

This is not an easy forum to gain acceptance in, you have to know what you are talking about and be prepaired to back-up your statments. I think most of us are leary of new members because we have been burned once or twice in the past.

I remember not to long ago I made the statment the GAU-8A had a 2 degree downward deflection and was correceted very quickly with a number that looked a lot like a prime number from a math text book!
