Just got this model yesterday (waiting on my "Peanut" & Spang models) and thought I'd share a couple pictures...first thing I noticed...they fixed the lower MLG doors, so they are on the back of the gear now instead of the front like the old models....anyways...here are a couple pics...

Is that 2 tone grey a scale paint scheme?
I am looking for a good example of the Light and dark ghost grey for my model A10.

whiteside - the shading on that model is pretty darn close to where its shaded on the real thing, but the dark grey isnt *that* grey. they are very close shades, not too noticable from very far away.

And Remember, Crew Chiefs make it happen..... PIL SUNG!

I forgot that we had a "Let's Roll" jet. Our Wing/Squadron standard is to have the AIM-9 DRA on station 11, and the ECM pod (which, from the pictures, looks like a ALQ-119, not the ALQ-131 that we use) on station 11.

Other than that, nice to see one of our jets in the Armour collection.

OK thanks for that, I will keep the tones close. I just need to be sure to capture the Pattern. Is that the one?

prkiii,

Looks great! Does Armour (or someone who sells this) have a website? I'm pretty sure I used to have the address of one, but that got lost a while back...

Thanks!

That's the site I also use for all of my purchases. Next state over from me so I get them in no time!

I have the SP and EL units, hope they make some others like the 104th

Great model. I'd love to see a model built for 120 down there too. You guys got a couple of great birds.
