Would like to give Kudos to Whiteside for his LOMAC activities. He and I have been flying together the past Week online with the latest Beta Patch 1.02 builds. I come to find out after friendshiping with him that he is also a 757 Commercial Pilot and an all around Good "Stick."

Today we did some formation 2 ship takeoffs, Formations, LATN basics a little Radial Marshalling with Stacks, Pressed into the target area, coordinated some Attacks and new employment methods added to the Patch (TDC/OFFSET Pipper Marks/CCRP. Marking targets. Then joined up went back to the base in formation for a straight in approach to the airfield, conducted a nice 2 ship formation landing. Did a HOTPIT/REARM, Took off, He took the Lead and coordinated The next same events as flight lead, Coordinating spaceing and Time on target coordination. Formed back up and he lead us on a nice 50nm circumnavigation low level over mountaneus terrain to a great entry into a Right Pattern Downwind approach to a formation landing. Goodshit.

By the way hes pretty good in IL2 Stumovik forgotten Battles:Aces Expansion Pack. Exhibited good BFM skills and energy management. Even gun tracked me a couple times.

So what is the rest of you guys with the sim waiting for?

Wow, thanks for the comliment. I was just trying not to get "DEAD". You guys are a real blast to fly with. Its really nice to fly with some organization on the battlefield. With the different elements of a strike package and with guys who really know how it goes in the real world. I've been simming since the Commodore 64 and esentially "learned to fly" on the computer. Now after almost 8000 hours in many types of aircraft and 10 years later, I look back and see how much good the flight simming and R/C flying I have done have trained me for the real deal.

After I flew about 2 hours of formation with you yesterday on the sim, I got a call from a bud to meet him at our hometown airport for some 3 ship formation out to the local practice area to test a formula one racer called "Alley Cat". It had been a couple of months since I flew formation. When I joined on the outside of the 35 degree bank downwind turn as dash three I settled right into position like I hadnt missed a beat in the last couple of months. I usually have to knock the "rust" off just a bit and then feel at home. Yesterday, there was none of that and I attribute that to the form we flew on the PC. THe Track IR head tracker we use just make flying the sim so natural. I was on the phone immediaty with my usual RV4 formation partner after our PC flying and was begging him to get a computer set up to fly with us. He's an ex Tomcat RIO and has been my wingman/partner in crime for the last 10 years.

Thanks for being patient setting me up on the net with the voice comms and the hyperlobby, it works excellent! You obviously put alot of time and effort into this sim and your knowledge of the aircraft systems blows my mind. I am having more fun simming with you guys than I have in the last 20 years!

Maybe an idea to setup up a massive online meet for forum visitors? must be fun to fly formation with a four ship (or more)

I am busy with the patch and future projects, but once we release the 1.02. I'll be more freely gameing with the public.

The problem with hyperlobby is the fact it's hard to find people that want to fly the A-10 in a serious way. Most people at HL are looking for DogFights.

Hmm sounds like your making a great deal of assumption.

I guess I wont be flying with you then, since you have a highly biased opinion on the people that enjoy the Hyperlobby gameing service. I have met many enjoyable peopleto recreate with on this site. The competition is phenominal. I enjoy the fact that their is someone out their that just may be better than i am. Competition and growth is abundant when flying against human opponents , that are unpredictable.

Ervani explain to me exactly how you know anything about real world employment of tactical aircraft?

Do you have real world experiance?

So it comes very apparent that your just being a Snobbish wannabe.

You will never gain any friends here or elsewhere with that attitude.

what i think ervani is trying to say is that his group are looking at learning serious hawg tactics rather than just roaming around shooting @ stuff <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

having not participated online yet i can't comment about any of that stuff...

The thing I want to say is:

On hyperlobby most people are looking for dog fights... It's not my goal to fly an A-10 vs Flanker Dogfight....

And sure I don't have any reallife flight experience but I know it's isn't realistic when you're on your airbase and you see some 'squadmates' taking of and disappearing at the horizon .... dropping bombs on some targets etc...

I'm looking for people that try to make a formation take-off... after that a formation flight to target area. etc...

I don't think most people around here are looking for trigger happy fragfun...

On the otherhand: Hyperlobby is a great tool to meet other online gamers...

ROFL I think you just made MrMudd's point... "So it comes very apparent that your just being a Snobbish wannabe"... with your above statment!
I love a little "f(r)agfun" and do just fly and shoot stuff so don't tell us what "most people around here are looking for"! Sorry ervani but you are sounding like a "hardcore" simming jerk!

No I'm not a Snobbish wannabe...

Yes a Wannabe... sure must be a great job to fly the A-10... Snobbish no way!

I mean a good formation flight is fun also and hard enough, atleast for me. I think you know what I mean.

But I don't want to be part of an endless discussion again, so for me discussion closed.
