Nice door, thanks for posting it warthopg64.  I guess door art is/has made a comeback at Spang.
I have a friend who's PCSing from Eielson (AFETS rep) to Spang next month and I'll be able to get all the door art from over there.

koobster: It is possible it didn't come from anyone individual, being a Spang jet. The motto of the 52 FW is \"The tip of the spear\". Dice: It looks like it is. I have mentioned before that we re-painted the stab caps, pulled ALL of the outer cowls off to go to paint barn to removed the panther heads...and at the same time they started trying to remove what little door art we did have up there. I hope they keep it coming, and hopefully I will make it back some day. --Raven |

Yea Raven we can only hope the pratice is having a rebirth and we will see more doors in the future. |

 I missed this doorart. When I saw the 2 planes, the doors were always closed. Wich day did you make this photo?
