I Saw some doorarts on airliners.net. I was not sure if everybody knows these ones. So i put the links here. And if you know these one, than is it nice to see those old (green) colours.

Dutchy, the first one is \"Sweet meat\". I also have \"Freddy's jet\" (the second one) but, don't have the last two.

Dutchy,
That last one appears to be a Functional Check Flight out of depot maintenance. That is the only place I have seen them fly bare metal (except the flight controls, which you can see are painted) and that definitely looks like Hill in the background. Dice can probably chime in and tell you a little bit more. The jet should get painted after passing the check flight, though.

Also, it SEEMS like they fly a lot faster without all that paint weighing them down...but I am guessing that there isn't too much difference in top speed.

Dutchy, raven is correct that is a jet at Hill AFB after an FCF flight and yes it will be painted before returning to it's home unit. Here (and a couple other places) are the only places where A-10 are stripped to bare metal to be repainted. You can see more shots of jets without paint on my website in the photos section.
