The first one is for me an old one. The other two are new for me. Thanks for sharing.

The first one is an \"old\" Spang door which looks like it's found it's way back on the jet from some dusty back room...door art returns, good deal. :D

Jackb, you're right the second one is 207 which was done while the aircraft was stationed at Eielson.

The thrird one is new to me and it looks like from the \"tail flash\" on the top of the door and the Hooters sticker I would say, somehow, it made it's way there from Nellis??? Hogfixer, got a tail number on the last one? Also I show the first one on 81-0966 do you know if that's still the case?

Thanks for posting, always nice to see old and new doors!

A bunch of random bumper stickers shouldn't qualify as door art. That's how door art gets a bad name with the leadership.

I agree somewhat Coach but, a few times in history stickers were all you could get away with so, I collect them to keep as complete a history of the art form as I can.

945 joined SP from Nellis a couple of years ago which explains the checkerboard on the top of the door.

Didn't 945 come from Pope? I was at Spang when 945 came in, and we were told she was brought in straight from OIF where it was with the 74th or 75th. Anyone got a little more history on it?

945 was at Nellis and was transferred to Pope in 99.

Ok, that makes more sense now. And then Spang got her from Pope around Nov. of 03. That thing was a mess when it got there, too! Worst acceptance EVER.

Thanks for the info, Coach.

The transfer was very difficult since the jet was in the AOR up until the transfer. Spang didn't really cooperate, so they got the jet straight off a six month deployment, including 4 at a bare base in southern Iraq.

It was all messed up by ACC's decision to try and close the 74th in late 2002, then changing the plan to redistribute some of the 75th jets as spares.

I agree to a point Coach, but for some reason my door art got Famous and published in 2 books and on the web with its Famous Bumper sticker
\"Hey Iraq, cross the line and your Ass is Mine\" from 1990 when the pilot couldn't deploy he was \"DNIF'ed\" due too a \"Illness\"
The pilot Who \"brought her over\" put it on there and When I recovered her at KFIA I threw a \" [angry] [cuss] [cuss] [cuss] because it ruined the paint job.
\"Ganders\" name and the 2 patches were ruined.

It wasn't a pretty site, and it fell off after about 3 months, but not until everyone took pictures of it.

But I agree bumper sticker aren't really \"Door Art\"
