Is the door below a real door or one of the reproductions done in the unit? Also on the subject of reproductions did they find a home where all are displayed like was planed?

Hey Dice sorry I havent been around much. The F-15's are really time consuming. We just got to take our first trip with the Eagles down to NAS Key West to do some DACM with the Canuks and the Navy aggressors. It was a good time, the jets are coming together and flew pretty well. Anyway, the door in the picture is one of the repros that one of our R & R guys did. We have that one and mine and he made a few more of them. Unfortunately there wasnt as big of a demand outside of our unit for them as we had hoped. I actually have two of mine. I have one in the grey and then one in the natural wood background. Aircraft 626's door that you see was named for LtCol Lawrence, call sign Nomad. The six is for the six SAM's that he took on at the same time back in 95 when we were over in Aviano at Operation Deny Flight. We haven't put them all up yet as we have planned. Our base is undergoing under serious building projects with the conversion. The plan still remains though. Right now we just have a couple of them up in the crew chief room.
