That is correct, Pil Sung at Osan is just liek ATTACK! at Pope. Even when the pilots are doign there thing on the radio before they taxi, liek at Pope they (ops) would say "negative words, attack" at Osan they say "negative words, pil sung". Sometimes we say it meaning it, like at the end of roll call the flight chief would say "remember crew chiefs make it happen" to which all us crew chiefs would holler back as loud as we could "PIL SUNG!". Although its gets said sarcastically pretty often too. for instance: "alright! working 12s on non flyers on weekend duty! Pil Sung!" Said it sarcastically last night at work as a matter of fact. A jet was on jacks, and the seat needed to be raised to search for FO, but the MXS refused to raise the seat unless the jet was also on fuselage jacks. ?!?!?!?!?, yeah go figure. So as were putting the adapters on the side of the jet, I was like (sarcastically, of course) I love doing extra work for no reason, pil sung! Without ME, it's just AWESO |

Thats allright their are guys like that everywhere. When we were over in the sandbox there was a flightchief from this other unit that tried to make us take off the AIM-9's to change a tire. He tried to tell us the LATERAL CG would be to far out of wack. Yeah sure I'll get right on it. By this time tomorrow I shall have gained either a pearage or Westminster Abbey........Nelson |
