I show the below door on 81-0959 but on her armor (left sholder) are the numbers 217, anyone know why? Also (I may have asked this before)Why is the phrase "natural born killers" used a lot on Osan door art, is it like the "Attack" slogan from Pope?

That is definitely 959's door, even though it says 217 on the shoulder. I remember every tiem I saw it I thought why is 217 on it? I'll email the guy who was the DCC on it when I was at Osan and ask if he knows anything about it. The phrase "natural born killer" I only remember being on like 2 or 3 doors there. Maybe it was an older phrase from before I got there, because those doors where the only place I saw or heard that.

Well, he said it was there when he got there (April 2003) and thought it looked good so he left it.

Thanks for checking jack, I have a feeling it may have been on, or meant for, 217 but ended-up on 595. I have nothing but my gut feeling so I will just take it at face value. Thanks again

I think this came from when the 25fs was in the Korea war.
