These was sent to me by Fender and it's a couple of shots of some nice WWII nose art. I'll let Fender fill in the details.

I took a picture of this out of a year book of sorts and sent it to Dice. My grandfather served as a heavy equipment operator in the 1902nd Wild Dueces (Army Corps of Engineers) during WWII. They made a year book and sent it all of its members many, many years ago. It has photos all the men, my grandfater inclulded(Forth Platoon, First Squad) who served in that unit during WWII in the Pacific. Anyway his unit built airstrips on Japanese Islands once the Infantry had cleared them. Ie Shima was one such Island he was on, the same one Ernie Pyle was killed on. I was looking at this book this past weekend and saw this nose art and thought Dice would like it. I find it very risque for the times, 1944 or 1945.

I like the tongue in cheek reference.

Exactally 30MM. Not only is it visually stimulating it has that double entendre with the saying. Do you think that would be allowed in todays AF? <img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle>

You think its nice in pictures, you should see it up close and personal like. Simply a work of art. Next to the B58, the 24 is my favourite bomber.

By this time tomorrow I shall have gained either a pearage or Westminster Abbey........Nelson
