Howdy. I was at EAFB on two seperate tours. 1977-1979 with the A-7's in Black unit and again 1983-1985 on the A-10, Red unit for a month or so and then Blue the rest of my tour. While in Blue, I was the crew chief for A/C 207.

I was in the 75th from '85 to '89. I have some friends here who were in the 74th. Maybe someone out there remembers them...Lisa Craven (comm/nav) although I beleive she went by a different last name most of the time there, and Tim Craven (crew chief).

If it were easy...everyone would do it!

GOOSE, I see you mentioned Sid ''The Kid '' Rawdon in your post. Do you or anyone out there in ''Hogland''know what ever happened to him, or where he might be? When He and I were in the 75th together he had an old Ford Fairlane that I was always helping him to keep running. It was RayBoys Repair Shop in the dorm parking lot.Right there under the big oak tree next to the vending machines.

I was in the 74th "Blue Section" from 1987 to Nov 1990. I was a Comm/Nav troop. I have been locating and contacting people that were there when I was. I am also building a website and planning a reunion. I have alot of contacts from our section if you are interested.

Goose,
I am sorry but I don't remember you. I guess I am getting old! Check out my website and if you want I can add you to the reunion list. www.freewebs.com/england_afb I have about names with email addresses of people I have located. I remember Tim Craven. Anyone know how to get in touch with him?

Just stumbled across the site this morning and got some time to look around a little.
You mentioned Sid the Kid.........man what a memory he is! I was in the 75th from Jan 83 thru Jan 86.
Sid, Big Tex, T-Bone, and a host of other characters from the Black Tails....... Country & Duff from Red Tails, Big JR from Blue Tails.
3 very enjoyable years at England with a great bunch of guys......and of course the best damn acft around!

I'll stumble thru now and again. I seperated in '88 after serving 8 yrs........shoulda retired Aug 1 2000......but seperated after being pissed on due to a squadron closure!<img src=icon_smile_clown.gif border=0 align=middle>
