In the US are the first Su-27's arrived. They are in private hands of Prideaircraft at Rockford (IL). They have also the L-39, but more private flyers has that type. Even Edwards afb (years ago, maybe still have it today).
Here the information about the Sukhoi's

Just Too Damn Cool, the TAC AIR guys have a L-29 Retro-fitted with the \"P&W J-60's\" ,

I wonder If they need a \"Hand\" ? I spent many of \"Days and Nights \" on the J-60's . T-39''s Power Plant.

But having some \"Vet Sticks \" with 4th Gen Threat Aircraft that the USAF and TOP GUN could use for Real World training ,
Talk about \"Getting your hands on the DE-CODER RING?'

Be like the US ARMY AIR getting ahold of that Zero intact in Alaska and then using it to do mod's and build aircraft to Defeat it in W2.

Worth the Money

If these are the same guys that have a Mi-24 Hind, I'm sure I'll see it soon in my neck of the woods. :D

It was operational but switched down soon after.

Anyway Pride Aircraft is still up although all Flanker info vanished as well.

Interesting though that one of their pilots is a former Hog driver.

Actually theres been a mig 29 and a Su-27 in Private hands in Florida for almost 2 years.

Their are several Flankers in US hands . The Us. Navy owns 2 flankers and are located at PAX assigned to TPS.

Their are others....
