You know, I was just about to post that this was but I just found it also by opening Google earth independantly of your link. It takes a little looking, but it is there at 41.51.07N 121.28.45W.

Pretty cool, but it still looks like it was dubed in. There is that secondary outline of the two A/C just off to one side and aft.

Seems real but I wonder why the "shadows" are lighter than the water? Althoough Google Earth may be artificially coloring water to indicate depth, I know our lake is darker on GE than our pond is.

I'll show it to 30MM Jr and ask if that looks to be the right seperation. It's a possible shot...I've seen C-130's in other, um, sources.

I know you can see on google earth a U-2 in landing at Beale afb, but does somebody knows where I can find that? Does somebody know where I can find it (...again, I forgot by wich place, city Beale is placed).

Another tip, look by Tucson at Davis-Monthan afb, Tucson afb and the Boneyard there, wow what a lot of planes.

Roughly 50 miles north of Sacramento California. Yuba county.
The U-2 there is taking off about 2/3's of the way down the runway ( to the south ). There are also a number of F-5 chase/training aircraft as well as an SR-71 on display with a D-21 recon drone.

A 45 has a muzzle.
A 9mm has a bullet vent.

Just checked out Beal. Totally cool. Also if you look at the north end of the runway, there is a parking area that extends to the NE. At the end are a pair of Warthogs. SOOOO SSSWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEET.

I've also checked out many of my stomping grounds. DM AFB in Tucson and the bone yard. Kunsan AFB ROK, can actually see the weapons range I ran off the south end of the runway. Buckley AFB here in Aurora, there is a small pond off the North end of the runway with a Blackhawk hovering over it with a fire bucket, practicing for Forest Fire Season. I've also checked out Iraq. There is a really big base north of Bagdahad with goobs of choppers and a C-5 on the ramp. Aviano AB in Italy, I can see the weapons range there also. Just too cool.

If somebody see more at google earth say it where you find it.
Little right above Palmdale and Lancaster you see Edwards afb. Now i see the history line, but where is the A-10b version go? Few weeks ago it was still there (or I don't look good)

I know that GE did update some of their imagry lately. Rawlins WY, Curacao Dutch Antillies, Christchurch NZ, Kunsan AB ROK, are all much higher resolution than they were a few months ago.

BTW: Check out the Carrier in San Diego as well as the rest of the ships there. At Edwards you can see the custom 747 used to fairy the shuttle. Kadina has an AWACS setting on the ramp and I even checked out some Russian and VN bases. Almost as good as being there without the Jetlag.
