I just realized I've achieved 5000 posts-worth of time on this forum. And to be honest, very little of it wasted! :D So, in honor of this ocassion, I'm going to offer a karma. I think Growler67 knows about this from the SIGForum site. Karma is what befalls you in life. Some good, some not so good. Sometimes you need a little help getting good karma and sometimes you have extra to pass on. I consider the WT very good karma for me. I've met alot of great people here vicariously, and a few in person. If Hogsmoke is at Whiteman next time, I hope to add to the latter. So, as homage to this good karma, I'd like to offer a small token of my appreciation. I have an extra Model Power 1:140 scale A-10 in peanut scheme that I will send to someone. I'll randomly pick from those who indicate a desire for this item (in this thread) on Friday 2/23 at noon CDT. The only restictions are that you have at least 150 posts (this includes those who may have had to change their member name) and send a valid snail mail addy to the email in my profile. That's all there is to it. Thanks to all the mods, owner and posters here for a great6+ years.

Congratulations 30mm. A great milestone and a wonderful way to commemorate it. There is something to be said for good Karma.

What's silly is that I've been on longer than you guys and I'm still only 10% of your post count. The joys of working your ass off!!

Works for me. I think dutchy is one ahead of us!

What's work got to do with it, Weasel? Slipping in the WT backdoor during work is what keeps the day going!

Well, even though I work directly with the guys that manage who can get to what via the base computers, I still have to grease some palms to see the WT. Since it's gone to the new forum, I've been able to see it here. Oh, and that fact that when I was crewing jets, I spent ALL of my time on the line. I didn't get to the computer to do my CAMS & forms until after my shift.

Understood. 30mm Jr's original goal was to work the line until his back and kness wouldn't allow him to push a start-cart, change a tire, etc anymore. Paperwork was a necessary evil. Being stuck infront of several computers all day long gets real old, real fast. Guess that's part of the reason why I enjoyed my deployment to Bagram.

Alrighty...prkiii, boomer, dutchy, weasel, ice pirate and homer had their names put into my A-10 ballcap for the first ever WT karma drawing. The results:

dutchy your karma must be very strong to reach all this way!! [banana] Send a name and address to my profile email, and I'll ship this little die cast to you. Congrats!
