I just finished reading JRR Tolkien's Silmarillion, and On a Pale Horse by Piers Anthony.

Now i'm reading the Book of Swords trilogy by Fred Saberhagen.

Oh...one last thing.

There're articles in nudie magazines?

You ever read the "Beserker" series by Fred Saberhagen? Basically killing machines from deathstars on down to micro-robots programmed to destroy all life they encounter. My personal favorite is "Itself Surprised" and the Qwibian-Qwibian-Kell. I need to reread Hammer's Slammers too.

Funny, "On a Pale Horse" and other Pierce Anthony books have been popping up in recent conversation, lately. Friends seem to independently compare me with both Death and Satan. lol

Well, since it's become the WT book club, may I suggest Requiem for Battleship Yamato by Yoshida Mitsuru?

They say, "To understand a man, you have to walk a mile in his shoes," but his clownshoe proved a most uncomfortable fit.

Might I recommend books by David Eddings, most notably the Belgariad and Mallorean series?

Haven't been big on fiction lately. Besides reading the LOTR Trilogy I also want to read Tom Clancy's latest, The Teeth Of The Tiger.

There are a few fictional movies on my list. All of them foreign films. Princess Blade, Battle Royale, and Suicide Circle, all from Japan.

And Dario Argento's Inferno. Dario Argento & his films are two of Italy's best non-edible exports.

For those of you that may like to read a classic but cant seem to get away from girly books, I highly recommend The Decameron by Giovanni Boccacio. One hundred short stories told over the course of ten days by ten young adults; seven women, three men. It is very classic (six hundred years) and very very smutty. My personal favorite.

By this time tomorrow I shall have gained either a pearage or Westminster Abbey........Nelson

How did you like the Silmarilion? I found it to be a bit dry, like trying to read the Iliad (before Uncle Bill introduced me to books on tape).

If you like epic fantasy read The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant
by Stephen R. Donaldson. Very good, very long, very epic.

Silmarillion was a lot like the Old Testament.

A great story cleverly concealed among very confusing text, lol.

"The Winds of War" and "War and Rememberence" by Herman Wouk are good reads, especialy if you are a fan of our great Navy.

I liked the Hope and the Glory (I think those were the ones) by Wouk.
