It has certainly been an interesting day. Timing is everything and having this errupt on 1 April wasn't good. <shrug> sh** happens. As I said earlier, the only constant is change. We've all seen it here. But usually, as others have mentioned, a change was tossed out on the floor and we circled it, smelled it and then either embraced it, pronouncing it good; or gave it a resounding, collective HE** NO!. I'm not saying the changes evolving today will be good or bad. Time will tell. But I didn't appreciate HOW it transpired, <i>i.e.</i> behind the scenes and then presented as a done deal. No chance for the Forum to participate at all.

I've made alot of friends here over the last 4 1/2 years, real and virtual. I've learned alot about the A-10 I would never have known otherwise. Am I leaving? To a degree, yes. I'll check back now and then to see what's happening and how it's happening; the time may come when I'll feel like posting again. But will I check every morning before I start work and see who's "in the pattern"? No. I have emails for some, and I'm sure I'll run across some in other forums, sites, etc. But for now I'll just follow my own advice and "Build a bridge and get over it".

I'm relatively certain this is an April fools joke. If not then Trit is the wrong end of the stick to "clean things up" judging by the porn he sent me. The problem is that a "joke" is supposed to be funny not sad and dissheartening. This has no doubt been constructed in the "pull the wool over thier eyes" format but a group of someones doesnt know when to draw the line. They think this will all be laughed about tomorow and go down as "legendary". It might be legendary, but so were the Hindenburg and the Edsel. The site is NOW supposed to be ONLY about the A-10, but the first new thing is about the pointless and forgettable Rutgers unversity? They didnt even have the mental agility to change the smilies to something cryptic and foretelling. Guys did this take more than 35 seconds to dream up, or was there just a lot of heavy drinking involved?

The Rutgers thing was a site test and will be deleted soon.
I also wanted as little shock as possible. So nothing was at all going to be appearing "cryptic and foretelling".
I'm getting pissed all over today and that's okay. You have every right to express yourself.

I dont think I have ever seen a more unprofessional and badly run April Fools 'joke' as this string and the others throughout the forums...

I was absolutely correct in my initial assessment a few months back about how unprofessional this site was...

So much for coming back, reading this utter stupidity sealed it for me...
