Just saw it tonight and I have to say it was better than I expected. Pretty much no plot except the very basics of Autobot vs Decepticon lore, and all action, but some almost hilarious comedy bits in there. A-10s come to the rescue in the opening 1/4th of the movie then it's F-22s getting thier butt kicked to a large extent. They left the ending in such a way that they could do without a sequel ( there will be of course ) and the story would be ok just like it is.
I would give it a good solid B+ to an A and I'm pretty stingy with movie kudos.

Glad to hear it, i'll definitely have to check it out.

My biggest complaint was the camera work, which affected a lot.

It was all shaky, and moved around too much. I found the fights hard to follow. Sure, it happens fast, but that's not much good unless it's in context, which I found a lot of it wasn't.

Also, while blowing things up is good, it helps to keep the debris down to the point where you can see the action, aside from the camera shaking all over the place.

Aside from that, I'd agree with Boomer, almost no plot, and no character development.

Agree on all of that, we were sitting rather close to the screen so I didnt know if following the action was just a function of being too close to it.
My litmus test for movies is would I pay to see it again, and I would pay to see this one again but I probly wont get around to it lol

awww ruined the surprise eh' snipe. Thats ok i saw the movie on saturday and picked up on it right away!

Great movie!! I'll be buying that one when it comes out.

I may waste the extra 10 bucks or so to buy it on Blu-ray if it is released on that format...hell, my PS3 should be used for something....

Just saw it last night and I'm outraged! The Hawg's didn't have near as much face time as the F-22's.

But I did love that big Toothy Grin!

Boomer, I saw your sig line on the car before reading above. I think I spit some popcorn about 3 rows down when I saw it.

Yeah, I'll have to pick up the DVD when the time comes. These days, I shouldn't have to wait more than a few months.

I saw it yesterday. Besides the \"15 year old blue eyed porn star\" it was really good.

Of course upon reflection it was also almost a direct bite of Independence day.
