Anyone know how to delete a http://www.file just to the right of the start command on the lower toolbar ?

Assuming you are using some type of Microshit operating system, here's a general procedure to delete anything that's on your desktop.

With your system fully booted up, go to the START button and RIGHT click on the start button. When the small window opens, left click EXPLORE, you will see all the stuff that's on your computer. Select DESKTOP (usually the first item in the list), another window will open showing all the programs that load on to the desktop upon start-up. If what you're trying to get rid of doesn't show, it's not a program, it's a shorcut. If that's the case, close out everything and just single click on the shortcut and select DELETE. It's not really complicated, just a few mouse clicks should do it. If this doesn't do it, drop me a PM, we'll figure out a way to walk you through it.

I have Windows XP. The shortcut option got deleted on my first attempt at trying to find the http://www site and all other sugguestions by OC have not found anything but I do appreciate the help.
