Eight months ago I ordered an upper AR-15 kit (A2...basic stuff) from AR-15kits.com. About three months ago they replied to one of my emails asking if they could charge my card to FINALLY start my order. Since then they won't answer the phone or any emails...so I put a stop on my credit card to cancel the order after three months of no customer contact. I understand it takes a little while to fill orders, but when they won't talk to me anymore then I don't want to deal with them anymore. If they would have gotten back with me and gave me some sort of ETC at all then I'd be happy and still waiting.

Any AR-15/M-4 guys out there have a favorite, customer friendly website that you deal with?

Model1sales.com and del-ton.com are my favorites for kits.
Brownells.com is awesome. Copesdistributing.net has some good deals too.
Check out gun-deals.com for lots of links to great deals (for guns and ammo)

Thanks Jackb! A buddy of mine who is big into guns mentioned Model1sales too so it must be pretty decent. :) I'll look over all of them. Thanks again!

DS Arms. Very fast and established. Very customer oriented.

Cheaper than Dirt. Also well established and pretty good prices.

DPMS. Great recievers and barrels, but a little pricy at times.

Midway USA. Another company I've delt with for years. Real happy with them too.

Just to name a few.

Found everything I wanted at Model1sales...and it was a bit cheaper than the AR-15kits.com that I never received. Placed my order...crossing my fingers...lol. ;)

AMAZING! I ordered from Model1sales a couple days ago. Today I get an email...\"Order Shipped!\"

Why the heck didn't I ask for suggestions 8-9 months ago?!? ;)

ONE WEEK after I ordered from Model1sales the UPS man dropped off my kit this evening at my doorstep!

With no assembly instructions it took me about three hours to figure out how everything goes together, but it works as advertised and I'm now an official owner of an AR-15A2. Basic 5.56/.223 A2 with 20\" barrel. :)

Thanks again for the great suggestions!
