To take my Delorean on a BTTF location tour was something I'd wanted to do since... oh... 1985, but never thought possible until I became stationed in CA. As soon as I got here it went on my bucket list of things I must do before PCSing.
Over the last year and a half living in CA, I've been to LA a whole bunch of times (almost 20 times). Most of the time I took my Civic (better gas, quieter, cruise control...) but I did finally make my dream come true.

My tour took place over the course of 3 separate trips to LA.
A week after arriving in CA (Nov 2011), the same day I went to LA to pick up my Delorean (I had it shipped to LA when I PCS'd to CA and took an airport shuttle and cab to go get it), I coincidentally met the LA club at a Delorean specialty shop and we all convoyed to Lyon Estates, 1955.
Kevin Pike was there too, and he signed my car.

Three weeks ago I finally took the D south again.

Self-explanatory. Saddest place in Hill Valley.

A few people approached us here. One couple, they were as excited to see a Delorean at the mall as we were to be in a Delorean at the mall lol. They took some pics, I let there infant sit in the car for some pics, and they took this video clip.
"If my calculation's are correct, when this baby hit's 88mph, you're gonna see some serious shit."

I didn't go inside the school, snapped this through the door. The bldg the interior scenes were shot in was a different bldg.

I've been to the starting line/tunnel before, but it was too dark and my pictures came out poorly. These are much better.

We skipped the Battle of the Bands auditorium on the even though we drove right past it, we were on a big time crunch for other things that day (saw a taping of JEOPARDY!)

On the second trip we skipped Hilldale 2015 (it's in a gated community and I didn't want to waste time waiting to sneak in the gate for a minor pic). We tried to go inside the church in Hollywood where the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance was held, but it was all locked up. Oh well, that wasn't a must see anyway.

All that remains to complete the tour is the parking garage for Biff's casino and the Courthouse Square, both at Universal Studios Hollywood. We plan on going there before the end of April.

Very cool!

I saw the town square at Universal Studios around '88, and the Delorian used. Don't have the pics anymore after the divorce 12 years ago...lol.

Our local CarStar place has one in their showroom (old car dealer building). Yes, I touched it; but I wiped it off, too. Along with a restored late 30s/ early 40s COE tow truck.
