LOL wimps hahahah, dont know what the records are for Missouri, but I've seen it 113º in the summer and -23º in the winter(NOT chill factor) the whole mid-west sees temps like this all the time up and down. But it's always worse if your not used to it. Just throw some bratwurst on the sidewalk and have a block party LOL

113°F in Missouri? And that's supposed to be hot??

Try Texas, boys...

113° is a spring holiday down here. Hell, in July and August it stays in the 100's when it's rainy and overcast!!! <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>

Aww, hell! Come on down to Eilat sometime during the summer. Temps average out at 48-50C in the shade.

Thank you Homer.
I haven't spoken it for a while; I haven't written in it for a longer while.
The problem I have is that people need to when someone is talking to me in German they have to speak really clear and moderately slow or I'll miss what they say

you´ve been in germany for a time?

i would have the same problem with the english language.
especially when dialects complicate it even more...
a few days ago i watched the movie "a perfect storm" on dvd and tried it in english language...
btw in what part of the u.s. you speak the craziest dialect??

I have never been to Germany; my friend has visited and I regret not going with him. I'm also 1/3rd German but I'm the only one in my family who speaks it.
Your english is most likely way better than my Deutsch.

The Craziest dialect?
Probably the Cajun in the south and the ebonics in the cities (I can't even understand what they're saying!!)

I agree with matlott....80 degrees can be hell with a 90% relative humidity. I will take the dry desert heat anytime.
