The Tweeter Center in Boston had a military appraciation night last night and Amie and I were able to go see John Foggerty and Willie Nelson. Willie Nelson is an iconand Steven Tyler (a hometown boy) came out and played a set on the harp with Willie. It was good, but Foggerty is just got as much energy as my five year old. It is pretty intense when you see fifty year old men and women dancing in the aisles and singing at the top of their lungs with youngin's that werent alive when CCR broke up.

Goose I was five and a half when they broke up October of 72. Five and a half, but I know all the songs by heart.

Damn Goose we're the same age if you were 9 in 1972. Now I can't say that I owned any of their records back then I do remember listening to them on the radio and I can blame my 2 older brothers for corrupting me with my heavy metal addiction.

capche-capche da - we go forward together

Ok, Ok, now I'm going to date myself. October of 72 I was at CCK in Tiawan almost two years into my first enlistment. Jackb, I've got 30 years on you. Listened to "Acid Rock" then and still love Rock and Roll now. Even saw CCR in concert in 69 or 70. In my experience, you can't stop the years from going by but you only get old if you let yourself. Most people guess my age as mid 40's (even with the mostly salt and some pepper) but I'll be 55 in December. Stay young and keep rockin' guys.

30mike-mike,
Like I said, you can't stop the years from going by but you sure as hell don't have to act them. My birthday present to myself this year is a new Harley.

Boomer,
Since I'm single again, I've found that by dating myself, I get along with me very well. Can't understand why the ex's couldn't. I'm a really nice guy. ;o}
