These were pretty high, about 1,500 feet.

We live on the side of a shallow valley and when they come in low, they scream over the crest of the ridge with about 300 ft clearance which means by the time they are over the house they're at about 800 ft.

We get a lot of Chooks and a few Hercs. It's the Hercs that are the real basket cases, I swore one came over at about 500 ft.

Last summer I saw a B2 with two escorts (I think they were F16's), I think there was an air show at Brize Norton and they were lining up out here before flying in.

It's 'gentle' country side round here with not many folk about, so I guess they just come here to play...

I've got the international patch. Where ever our lot wants networks and comms, that's where I go...

Because I cover a lot of TZ's nd lot's of places that work 7x24 I just work from home rather than an office.

Temp here is 33C and due to stay or rise, no wind whatsoever. But on the plus side, whenever I'm out of the dungeon (warehouse) on -2, I can occasionaly see C-130's flying over at about 150 feet. I've had a couple pilots wave to me. It's kinda cool!

Just out and about town I've seen Kiowa's, Blackhawks, Little Birds, Chinooks, and a pair of A-10's once.

The little bird..which was flying rather low, and someone in one of two blackhawks at the little airport outside town have both asked me what I was looking at.
