Well...

I predicted the Raiders would finish 5-11, that proved to be overly optimistc because they finished 4-12. I am glad this debacle is over. Bill Callahan is going to take the fall, and lose his job. But the fault lies with the retard that runs the team, I wish Al Davis would do us all a favor and go away.

I have to say, at this point if Seattle cannot go the distance, which they won't. I am rooting for the Eagles. I like Andy Reid, and Donovan Mcnabb, but I have always been a big fan of Philly's defensive coordinator.

Snipe rooted for my Raiders in the show last year in vain, hopefully my pulling for the Eagles wont be the same.

If the Eagles just make the super bowl i'll be happy.

They haven't done that since 1980!

Now that Joe Gibbs is back in Washington, anyone thing John Madden will go back to Oakland? lol.... NFL Head Coaches seem to "unretire" more than Magic Johnson.

Well, in a superhuman effort Donovan McNabbulous led the Eagles back from a 14 point deficit and has sent the Eagles to their third straight NFC title game.

Uh, Stinger....time to haunt you with a quote. :)

"In all seriousnes Chad (and knowing you didn't ask me :) ) McNabbs stats for the year so far SUPPORT what Rush said.... he just forgot you can't say anything remotley race related on a media outlet... besides Vick (and for that matter Brooks when he isn't playing with his head up his arse) is a far better QB than McNabb"

LOL....right.

I wonder how Vick and Brooks felt watching Donovan McNabb set an all time playoff QB rushing mark while throwing for 250 yards and 2 touchdowns- from their sofas.

Donovan McNabb is twice the player Brooks is, and is what Vick promises to someday be.

Great.

Oh, and Boomer, step away from the ledge... ;)

That KC game was the worst display of defense i have ever witnessed, and the Rams with their mad scientist Martz seem to find ways to lose in the big game, as if they're actually trying to.

PS- the winner of the NE/IND game wins the super bowl.

I'd give the MVP of that to either Deuce or McNabb; both did above normal.

In the Eagles tying touchdown drive McNabb accounted for 106 yards of offense.

The play where he eluded the GB pass rush and escaped to the sideline and nailed Pinkston in the corner of the endzone was Randallesque.

Amazing performance.

MVP should go to Favre for the punt he threw in OT...

Eagles hung tough, and good teams win those games, Green Bay played not to lose, instead of playing to win. That 4th down call at the end of the 4th qtr was absurd, they ran on Philly all game, they get that first down and its over. McNabb played like the warrior he is, and showed why he made the Pro Bowl and third stright NFC title game. Stats don't mean jack, Troy Aikman never put up guady numbers, but was one of the best QB's in the buisness and won 3 Super Bowls.

AFC....Dont even want to go there, when you cannot make the opposing team punt, well the rest is history. I bet KC could use Gunther Cunningham's defensive prowess these days, another 13-3 playoff cop out. Peyton Manning is putting up fantasy league stats right now, Tony Dungy may very well win his second Super Bowl in a row, that was Tony's Buc team last season...

Except that the Eagles had a brilliant 4 play goal line stand stopping Green Bay from the 1 on 4th down.

If the GB coach goes for it at the end and doesn't make it, the Eagles have the ball at midfield.

The risk was too great. If not for McNabb delivering a laser like pass to Mitchell on 4th and 26, the Eagles would have lost anyway.

McNabb was a one man show, delivering one of the great post season performances of all time. Of course, that means nothing if they lose next week.

BTW, NE has 15 wins and DID win the super bowl 2 years ago.

It looks to me like they're set to claim another one.

After the first play of the next series, Philly had the ball at midfield anyways. I believe that when you get the chance to control your own destiny, sieze the innatitive, and put your boot on the opposing teams larnyx you do exactly that, in the play-offs its do or die...Green Bay should have played to win, I would rather put the game in the hands of Amahn Green or Brett Favre, then hope that my defense can make a stop. You go with your strength. Either way it doesnt matter, its all monday morning quarterbacking, McNabb made the plays when he had to, and that was enough. NE looks solid, they very well may win it all, but Indy was either really good or KC's defense was really bad.

Well Ind IS very good, but KC's defense is also VERY bad.

In fact...that was the worst defensive performance i've ever seen.

I missed most of the KC game due to family medicle reasons and I hit a dog on a meds run after the Rams game, so all-in-all a great weekend <img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle>
The KC defence is ok but any zone can get ripped by a strong arm and payton has at leaste one of those lol. Mods please remove all referances to Gunther Cunningham "bend but dont win" teams of the 90's, he's fairly well hated in the reagion.

They didn't look OK to me.

If you look at the numbers, when Gunther Cunningham was the defensive coordinator, and later the head coach, KC ranked in the top 10% of the NFL in terms of total defense, he was also the defensive coordinator with the Raiders, as was John Fox once upon a time, both had great minds for defensive football.

With a KC's world class offense, a marginal defense would get that team to a Super Bowl, hopefully they address their inadaquacies in the off season, because they do have the talent nucleas on offense to be a great team next year. I remeber how tough they were when they had the likes of Derrick Thomas, James Hasty...On defense, The Raiders couldnt beat the Chiefs in the early to mid 90's if their lives depended on it.

New England can play great defense and totaly handcuff a offensive juggernaut like the Colts, they did it against the Rams in the Super Bowl. No matter who gets in, this years Super Bowl promises to be a good one, unlike last years public flogging.

I'm from KC and I thought our defense was horrible yesterday. In the first half it wasn't so bad, but that Offensive pass interference call just brought everyone down. Our D couldn't hack after that and our O was dropping everything thrown to them. Guess that's what you get for waiting 7 years for another chance.

It takes a big man to cry, but it takes an even bigger man to laugh at the big man crying.
