Bought it from Pete.
Since it takes two days for a total overhaul, He requested that I try my best to pick it up before March 30, 2004 for obvious conflicting reasons; ie April Fools. I couldn't because of previous obligations.

Had I not picked it up at this time, the bandwidth and IP would of been given to another host and WTF would've been canceled, for a loooong time. Probably for good.

If this is an April Fool's joke, cool. If not, be assured that I did no complaining about this forum outside of what was posted here. I never went to anyone directly outside of public posts on this site. Whatever's going on I hope it's a joke. If not, Trite, looks like you're about to lose 90% of your folks. I put my $$ on the guess that it's all a friggin' April Fools joke. "Mudd Canned by Tritonal"....whatever... Already posted a similar post on this frum and it was removed...not sure why unless Trite's covering his April Fools joke tracks...

Ok I am getting into this though I don't want too. I've seen this place go through many many changes, all of them were brought on by the people who posted them. Period. In the beging there was pete and pete never did anything, and pete was good. We were self-regulating and we were happy. Then this place started to grow, and I remember when they added general avaition then they added general talk. and I was happy about those two, I thought they were good additions, and I enjoied both tremendusly. They soon surpassed A-10 talk and I was fine with that, because it was brought on by the people. We regulated it. This place was good we joked about saint goose and our own WT house type thingy and what not. But then it changed again. and mostly because I was more there then here for about two years I missed exactly what the change was. But I knew that the change was brought on by the people here. Now this change has been brought on by a couple of select people. talking in private without the public's knowledge. Violating the unwriten sins of our institute.
1. don't mess with dice.
2. nothing is said about the boards or people on the boards without everyone hearing it whether your involved or not.
3. play rough with the trolls
4. everything must be able to be backed up by a verifiable source with said notations and citations

other than that we had a good group of people who where generaly mild and good. I remember when dice's little girl was here, that is no more. though I'm not saying that the change from mild to bad was not good, nor bad just change, because that change was brought about by the people on this board. Though I wasn't particullarly happy about it I am willing to go along with it because it was fun and sometimes informative. but this change does not hark back to other times.
I have seen these "fights" on the boards. I like them even less. I think it's peatty stupid, confusing (because no one never really knows what who's fighting about) and pittiful. I've seen many many people "say they are leaving" only to be talked out of it. and from what I can tell this is what happened: someone complained in private. Not here not where the people can see what's wronge, and see what the people can do to change it. and they have in the past, and I believe they would in the future. I just believe that the people who complained should come out and complain so we can work to fix it, without this crap that's flying.
I'm not happy about what happened.
I'm not going to say that I'm leaveing because the people who say that never end up leaving.

I gave to the Wounded Warrior Project this Christmas

They help wounded vets recover by helping them in different activities.

Next paycheck that comes I will sure give again.
