Hey atleast it was slow at work, those guys just to my south this time got the "Springfield ILL " Treatment this time,buildings, trees,power out, etc.... Man, I think "BLOGG-O" better step down as GOV right now or it'll be EarthQuakes next!<img src=newicons/anim_shock.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_blackeye.gif border=0 align=middle> But at this rate, I wont have to hire those guys to trim my trees this spring or strip-off the old shingles. Lost a chunk of roofing (30MM Jr may have a soggy bed for Guard weekend coming up!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=newicons/anim_lol.gif border=0 align=middle>) and the lawn furniture went visiting next door. I have corn cobs and stalks everywhere,but next storm will just send them on their way. I did have to drive down the fence line 2000 yrs to get my burn barrell. Found part of the folks south of us Corn Crib metal roofing, thats 1 1/3 miles from where it started. That's the same combination as my luggage! We had the power flicker, and got some pea sized hail. But the wind kept me up, and there were sirens most of the night. Ignorance may be bliss, but it sure ain't fun! |
