I figured they could tap them easy enough while you were using them, but looks like they can activate the mic even when it is off!!!! They have been able to do that with regular house phones pretty much ever since they got rid of the rotory dial. ( yes I'm old enough to remember when phones had wires and round dials lolol ) "Fitz" is the tits! Brownells calls me Aaron Burr cause the way I'm droppin Hamilton$ |

Hence god inventing the cordless phone with the "Off" switch on it. 
LOL, i got the cellphone covered for sure...mine is an ancient POS(i HAD a nice one, but it did not survive the first season at my dad's new olympic sized swimming pool. On cellphones. (Most) Cordless phones have an old fashioned no-shit power interruption switch, not a 'request' switch like computers and cellphones have.
