The link below is to the web page on Applebee's with info on the offer, including what items on their menu are part of the offer: http://applebees.com/vetsday/ If you're a vet and you've got an Applebee's near you, take advantage of it if you can. They list on the web site what \"proof of service\" is required. |

I won't get to take advantage, because we're working in our satellite office in Conway, Arkansas today, and there are no Applebee's here in Conway. 
The closest Applebees are in Little Rock and North Little Rock. Since I live in Searcy, I'd be burning more gas than what the free meal would cost to go from here back to LR/NLR. Oh well, I'm glad some folks will be able to take advantage. |

The one up north of here the Food, would make you wish you had an MRE 
I went to the Truck Stop,Local Resturant this morning for Breakfest before the \"Flag Pole Duty\" and We had our Check Paid for this morning by a \"Trucker\" passing thru . I told \"Deb\" , here's a $20 and pay for another Veterans Check. I have had my Food paid for alot there , for being a Veteran ,and We're blessed , So it was time to pay them back. Goose |

Goose Well, the couple of times I've eaten at an Applebee's, the food was ok. And it would take a *lot* to make me wish I had an MRE. An MRE is just barely better than nothing.
