I went back from a few days Normandy in France. Visit the Pegasus bridge and café what was first freed in 1944. Also went to the American Cemetary at Omaha Beach. Ponte du Hoc, Utah Beach and St. Mere Eglise (landingsplace of 82nd and 101st airborne). Last is famous about the trooper that hanged on the church, he became deaf by the bells. It was mine second time that i visit it and still impressed me. Those men gave their lives so i can live in peace in Europe. |
