My Aussie brother in law (a forces vet BTW) was touring Thailand recently and sent back this photo. He took it in Jan's Bar (where he stayed for a MONTH..!), Pattaya, which is about 140kms south-east of Bangkok Not very politically correct, that's why I thought I'd post it here… <img src="http://www.fullyauto.demon.co.uk/janbarnotice.jpg" border=0> "A .44 magnum beats 4 Aces everytime..." |

When I arrived in Pattaya, which is about 140kms south-east of Bangkok the temperature was a lovely 33C. Found some places to stay and settled in for some drinking and generally have a good time. Spent a fair bit of time drinking in a bar run by a couple of expat Aussies from Western Australia, it was a real UN type place with blokes from all over the world dropping in for a beer. There were a lot of Poms, Kiwi’s, Canuks and even some Yanks. Stayed that way for the next month, which on retrospect was too long a time. Pattaya is the sort of place that you go to for a week or a fortnight, have a real ball, then rack off home with the memories. Due to all the raging that I was doing (which included turning my day upside down, I was getting up at four o’clock in the afternoon and going to sleep about seven o’clock in the morning), <hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size=2 id=quote> Sound a pretty alright place... Sounds like a plan 2DREZQ. But if we were desperate for some wheels over there...Had me thinking about trying to get a famous person to tag along. With enough members of the Sniper gang and locals we're trying to cut a deal with-to-one celebrity ratio.
