Just thought I'd let everyone know that we're putting in a new server in the next couple days. Right now the forum is running on a dual 700mhz system with 768MB RAM and a 40GB drive, which was a decent system a couple years ago when it was installed. The new server is a dual 2.4ghz box with 2GB RAM and mirrored 80GB drives. Aw not special enough to a have a server like the one we built this week 720 GB raid, 64 bit opteron, linux 64, 2 GB of ram. Sweet machine lol. |
