I will have access to pilots who flew in OIF and OEF at the upcoming Hawgsmoke 2004 ( http://www.hawgsmoke2004.com ) and I will be interviewing them for my book, which is in process. My question(s) is what types of questions should I ask? I know there is a lot of knowable people here who can help me get the best out of the time I have with the pilots. I will be in meetings all day so I will not be responding until later this afternoon but I would like to say thanks for any suggestions in advance! HMFIC |

Dice here are some questions;

How do they justify the a-10 in the modern airforce f-35, drones, and so on?

If not classified how did the hogs mission ready status stack up to other modern fighter same tasking like the harrier, f-16, and F-15 E.

What would be the one modification they would like to see in order to extend the life of the hog into the next centery?

Basically strengthen the argument that the tax payers have gotten bargin for inexpensive but capable airframe? |
